About Me

Here are the top 5 thing you should know.

1.  I have been an educator for over 15 years.
2. I specialize in teaching students with dyslexia.
3. During the pandemic, I began to write about my own struggles with undiagnosed dyslexia.
4. I used poetry to create the story of Maggie Harris in my first book, Moments on Mute. 
5. The appendix in the back of the book is the icing on the cake!

We all have a story to tell.  Through sharing Maggie's story, I have been able to make connections with so many people. Growing up has never been easy and we never stop growing.  I hope my book inspires and impacts anyone who reads it to reach out through struggles and not feel like they have to face all of the difficult  "moments"  on their own.
